2ND COMPETITION FOR COMPOSITION 2006
IN SOUTHEASTERN EUROPE
in collaboration with SONEMUS (Sarajevo)
It's the second time that pre-art/SONEMUS
is calling for compositions in the region where the organisation has been
working during the last five years. The aim consists in finding young
composers in order to promote them in an international context. By this
means we support the exchange within southeastern Europe and with Switzerland
to overcome the regional border lines.
The competition is directed at composers from following countries: Albania,
Bosnia and Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, Romania
and Serbia-Montenegro (with Kosovo).
Age limite: 30 years (born 1976 or later)
We demand a composition for trio, quartet, quintet or sextet with the
following instruments to choose: flute (also piccolo/alto flute), oboe
(also cor anglais/bass oboe), clarinet (also bass clarinet), concert accordion,
piano and percussion (with the following maximal set: cymbals, snare drum,
bongos, triangel, tom-toms, wood block, bass drum, cow bells 4 piece,
guiro, maracas, tambourin; just one player!)
